The strangest food I have eaten...

I have been eaten bee, beehive, caterpillar, and flogs legs. I don't know why I ate them, but it is not a good memory. Most of all, eating terrapin's blood is the best. When I was high school student, I was under a lot of stress. So I always get ill such as headache, stomach, and anemia; also, I always catch a cold in all season. My parents very worried about that. In thanksgiving, they heard that terrapin's blood has great effect on weakened body from my cousin. So...they decided to buy the terrapin and drew its blood. I denied to drink it and cried, but I had no choice because my parents forced to drink it. It was not just terrapin's blood, but mixed with other drink. It taste was not bad, but my feeling was awful. I didn't think I became healthy after I drunk it, but my mother said thanks to the terrapin's blood I got less ill. Even if it were so, I won't drink animal's blood.

My dream job

My dream job is photographer who takes a picture all around the world because I love travel, activity, and taking photos. It is so interesting and exciting thing to me that traveling and taking a picture. When I go on a trip, I feel free;also, I can learn many things to see it. I want to learn through seeing, listening, and feeling. And I really want to communicate feelings and express the emotion through the photo. It is most powerful way to move people's mind and thinking and more strong than write the essay. I want to express my feeling and touching by photos. And I really hope to help people by taking picture. In other words, If I take a poor children's picture in Africa, people might donate for them or more concentrate on their situation. Also, if I take masterpieces, I could sell it at a high price. Then, I can use the money for poor people.

Photographer is really well-matched job for me because I hate the boring work like routine. It is really active and not repeating work. It is not always same that I take a picture even in same place. I get bored easily;so, I have to have active job. I am interested in taking picture. No matter how busy or tired, I'm really happy to take and edit the picture. I'm interested in landscape photo. I want to take the class that I learn about how I can take more beautiful and meaningful photo. Thus, photographer can travel all around the world and I really want to get photos like nothing else on Earth; so, I dream of becoming a photographer.

Who am I ? - Jenny

I'm Jihyun Lee from Korea, and I lived in Daejeon.

But I had born in Seoul, then I continue moving a lot of times.Korea is divided 8 provinces; for example, Chung-chong do, Gyeongsang do, and so on. I has lived all 8 provinces because my father regularly moved work site. It is great experience to me and my family. In the USA, I am living with home stay family in Placentia. They are so nice and kind.

My family is composed of father, mother, two younger brothers, and me. My father directs constructing site; for example, he lead the construction of airport in Incheon. My mother works in University food court, so she is always tired and exhausted;however, she is full of energy and is active all the time. I have two brothers. One is 2 years old younger than me, and he is a college student. The other is 6 years younger than me, so he is student to at junior high school. They have great potential and skills. I love my family :)

I really like challenge because it is to boring without challenge and change. I tend to handle the problem quickly by myself. Because I usually compare me to others, I am often under a lot of stress, so I really want to change that. And the first time when I meet new people, I'm shy and not speak well in front of them. I struggle to change my personality, but it is hard to me. I have a plan to go backpacking in Europe with my best friend. We collected the money by ourselves for 2 years. Finally we will go to there on December 24Th. I'm so expecting about that. Maybe, this year is very meaningful to me because I study in Cal state Fullerton, I went to Japan in January, and I will go to Europe in winter.

My major is food science and technology. Although now I'm very interested in that, I didn't want to learn about food few years ago. I want to be a researcher and professor. In Korea, researchers can teach college student, so I really want to be both of them. It is very important skill to speak, use, and know the English in Korea. So, I will master and be familiar with the English !
